I'm wondering if powder coating is an option on these wheels. Not sure if the powder coating would affect the fitting of the lock ring. Etc? Doing 6 20" rims for '48 2 ton.
The problem is that you can't touch up scratches on powder coat. The best tire installers guaranteed there would be scratches when they were done. They work very hard to keep them to a minimum, but they would be there.

hammering so your fancy powder coat (plastic) paint job is
gonna be a mess by the time you get a tire mounted up.
Spray paint is easy to touch up.
