Parts Plus stores should have metal core plug wires, and I'll see about the part number in the morning. I'm not sure about the copper part though. Jeggs and Summitt Racing would be a good place to look.
Unless you're wanting to be a purist, the new plug wires work fine on these old stovebolts. No I'm not trying to be a purist, so maybe I should back this up a little and ask will copper wire and non resistor plugs give the best and hottest spark with these old points ignition systems? That's all I'm really after, otherwise I'll use the carbon wires from NAPA and their resistor plugs. I don't need Hi Performance, just good performance.
FLAPS! LOL. I've seen that used here for quite awhile and thought that it must be a west coast chain of auto parts stores. That makes me look NSB (not so bright). :>)

The modern wires should give you better spark than the older metallic wires, and with less static for anyone around with a radio.
