I must confess, I did Not watch the video but the question asking "Are they "Finished" pops up? My experience when I thought "Finished" is that Now we just really got started.It is way too much fun driving to justify Shop time! They are "Finished WHEN that money Pit is completely Full of 1950,S currency and there is NOBODY down at that bottom snatching your cash!. Jerry

Looks like you had a lot of great help. Wonderful you were able to bring all of them together to share in the enjoyment of your restoration, and the work that goes along with it - and in only four years!. That's great compared with some of us. Thanks for sharing the video - it is easily as well "done" as the old Chevy truck that now looks new again.

Very impressive. You were surrounded by family and purpose. It doesn't get any better than that. 4 years is good. I like the door graffiti! I hope I can find a graphic designer and painter to do that for one of my projects!
The original color of the truck was more of a cream white. I had a paint chart for 52 Chevy's and got hooked on a brown but someone told me brown was not an option on 52 trucks (I'm sure someone in the forum can clarify). My father gave me a truck calender with a painting of what looks like a 51 the same color. I'll check my BAPS rcpt to get you the specific color I used.
This was truly inspirational. I have the same basic knowledge and want to learn. Nice to be reassured that it CAN be done. It was also nice to see how long to expect to take to "complete" a resto.
