It appears there is another site that says it is from a 6000 truck motor.
This is where it gets fishy I don't have the photo of my vin tag but is extremely worn and I have to find out if I have a 1.5 or 2 ton truck then. I will take a picture and pm you guys tonight.

Tim pointed you to the GM 52 info where the code says the engine is a 52, so that tells you it's not going to match the details of your 47, no matter what series - the various other sites that have info [or not] mean nothing

The 1947 Specifications Manual shows that 1.5 and 2.0 ton trucks had 2-speed rear ends as an available option.
5000 & 6000 series trucks can be 1.5 ton or 2 ton.

I guess the sure way is to find the tag
that will tell you the gross weight that it can haul..
don't your title show the gross weight and critical stuff you are looking for..

All I can make out is: 210K-H 1191 everything else is scratched off... I will shoot more photos of the axel set up, it appears quite beefy and will identify it tomorrow with some of the info that has been provided! But until now here is the pic of my vin tag, In Washington I have to get a state patrol inspection because it was sold with a bill of sale. To fill out the paperwork I need to be reasonably sure what it is that I have. that's why I'm asking so many Noob questions. From what I can tell, it appears that the serial number might actually be 21 QK-H 1191. It's hard to see, but I could just make out the hint of a "tail" on the "O", which may make it a "Q" instead. Being a "Q" also makes it work out with the listed model codes, with a "QK" being a 4400 1.5 ton 161" wheelbase. The rest works out like this; 21 is the assembly plant, Janesville Wisconsin, H is the month built, June, and the rest is the sequential number.
