It is used in several areas on the cab. The weirdest place is inside the cab above the hole for the fresh air heater. When I replaced my outer cowl, I found the staples that used to hold the anti-squeak in place. I could not figure out what would squeak in that area as there was no potential for metel-to-metal contact?! The same stuff is also used on the small filler panels near the hood hinge area. Venders are selling rubber pieces for these filler panels but they buckle when you bend them around the corners.

The cut some pie shaped slots into the holes and see where that gets ya going around the corners. A pic of the "stuff" would say a lot. some 60 or 30 lb roofing felt makes good anti squeak.

The irregular surface of the bed liner stuff is similar to the blistered appearance of the deteriorated original material. Not that it matters, since you can't see any of the anti-squeak on the inner fenders once everything is installed.
