For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 | Here is the plan, I am going to remove the rear leaf springs, eliminate the Overloads and take 2 of the bottom leafs out. I am then going to add rear shocks, which a factory 1951 1 ton does not have. Have any of you done this? What brackets have you used for Shock mount and where did you mount them? I surely would appreciate anybody's advice and guidance on this. Thanks in advance, Jerry Jerry
