Thanks | | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 | The OEM HEI coil (which i8s square) is grounded in the distributor cap by one of the four screws that hold the coil in the cap. Langdon also sells the Pertronix conversion. If you have the Pertronix, grounding the coil shouldn't be a consideration.
