| | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 872 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 872 | I put the head back on my 58 235 and the front two 'short' (manifold side) head bolts are a bit unique... they have an additional threaded stud on top of the hex head... about 1.5 inches high, fine thread.
Since I got the motor in pieces, nothing was attached to them. The exhaust manifold *does* have an oil filter bolted to it... so I am wondering what they might be for.
