Leo "1953 Panel" K will be driving his '53 Panel 5. Ron "We b Old" Steltz will drive the '54 or 2012 -- "seems foolish too go and not take the 54." 6. Alvin "A Chipmunk" Parris - "plans are to drive the '52 Panel" 7. Cliff '59 is bring a '54 Apache with a 261 Chevy Engine and some comfort for high speed driving 8. Steve "phantomgas" Bobst -- " Looks like the planets are aligning and I have the green light to bring the bus back to Kansas City!!!" 12. Joe "Brewster" Miller --'47 1-ton 13. Don "2 Ton" King -- '48 3/4-ton grain 14. Ed "DaOZ Tinman" Hoover -- 1920's Chevy 1 1/2 ton gokart truck -- ain't a Bolt, but it's old and cool, I'm sure 15. Rusty64 will be there with his 1964 1/2-ton 16. George "Wrench Bender Ret" Capito will be "driving my '56 pickup from Northmoor, Mo. approx. 1 mile) 17. Or the 46 2-Ton grain truck that was used as the band stand the first time I made the reunion a couple years ago.
I,m thinking the chalk board, since it only has a couple of old Hodaka's in the back and not full of cans like the 2-Ton.
Should I leave the Combat Wombat and the Road Toad in the back of the 3/4 Ton? They are just mostly frames, motors and pieces. May make some good conversation topics.
Don't exspect too much, and you will not be disappointed!

The '48 chalk board was also fun, as well as your clinic!

I have been pushing and pushing but I still don't have the fuel tank installed and the front bumper on (and a million other little things like shocks, brake line clamps, etc). While the hood is now on I don't have the hood hinges on. It just doesn't seem right that the springs are going to stretch that far (I will be taking pictures/measurements while in KC). Anyway, I have been telling Cheryl that it is a slow death at the pace I have been working trying to get my truck ready, but at some point you just have to accept reality. But I will be there. I am so looking forward to this long weekend, albeit without my truck. | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,139 Authorized Pest | Authorized Pest Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,139 | If you had a way to haul the truck, I'm sure some of our gang would be glad to help you with some of the stuff. Just a thought. Uncertain if you have a trailer readily handy.
When an un-finished truck is on the show field, it's natural to start wrenching. And you'll have plenty of folks who know how to help.
