Thanks, that really was a good little film.

I'm still puzzled by the function of the oil distributor valve. From the sound of it and the drawings I've seen I think it regulates the oil pressure going to different passages -- up to the valves vs. down to the nozzle galley perhaps? Why is such a valve needed in the first place?

I'm not an expert by any means but I believe it was to make sure the main bearings had adequate pressure before allowing oil to divert to the rockers. If I'm wrong someone will point that out. grin
