I have acquired a Yankee Turnflex 730/736 after doing a small bit of investigation. I thought these were 7 wire switches but the one I received only has 4 wires. I dismantled the unit and found that there are two contacts inside without wires. I am supposing I can add the missing wires but there isn't enough contacts on the stitch module for 7 wires. The diagram I have shows a wire coming from the brake light switch and separate wires for the rear lights -- 3 additional wires, which would make sense if the brake lights are to integrated into the system.

So, I either have the wrong switch or there is some method for routing the brake light through this switch. I am supposing that there is actually 2 different models of the Turnflex that use the same case. One with 5 wire and another 7 wires.

I would like the unit that integrates the brake lights into the system so as to use the existing light fixture with appropriate lamp sockets.

Any pointers will be appreciated

You are correct in you need a different model. The 730/736 will work however you will have to use separate turn signal lights on the rear. You can not run the brakes through or into that model turn signal.
