They will interchange but some simple modifications to the cab and frame are necessary. The frame is about 2" longer at the front, it will need to be trimmed and the bumper mount holes redrilled to allow the bumper to line up properly. On the cab, the hinges for the earlier clip mount to the firewall instead of the inner fenders. The holes might be there already for the hinges, but the cage nuts that the hinges bolt up to are not. Otherwise, it's a direct swap, provided you get everything that goes with the clip (hood, fenders, inner fenders, core support, hood latch panel).
