An what should weight of truck be numbers match title but weight on title says 2000 pds

I'd guess 5,000-6,000 on the weight. Go by the dump or scrapyard and roll over the scales to see what ya got.

I'd consider just using the 18" lock ring wheels if you don't have a problem with the available tire selection (or lack thereof). I know a lot of places are weird about it, but that's why I mount my own tires, lol. A C-40 is the standard 8 on 6.5" pattern, right? If so, some later common-as-dirt 16" tubeless wheels should slip right on if the brake drums clear, although I kind of doubt they will on a C-40. (Someone else help me on this) Also shorter than the 18" tube types. (=more engine speed)

19.5" wheels should clear fine, and they look really nice, IMO. You also get "real" truck tires with the swap; the stability and tread wear is supposed to be great. Tires are kinda spendy, and the wheels aren't that common, though.

My rims are 10 lug 5on front 10 on back but still enterchange lack of tire selection is my problem found some 900/20s but to big an 10 bolt pattern to big to gona mesure tommrow thanks for your help

In that case, I would just use the wheels you already have if they are still useable. Universal Tire has a 7.00-18 highway rib truck tire for $205, and a 7.50-18 mud tire for $233. They are also US made. https://www.universaltire.com/truck-and-military/truck.html?p=2

Good morning folks!

Has anyone actually mounted the 7.50 X 18.00 Mud tires on the 18" rims. My research tells me that tire width exceeds the allowable width for the rim. I'm anxious to install some mud grips on my project but don't want to do something that isn't safe.

I would like feedback from someone who has used that tire.

Someone else should chime in here, but I'll throw my 2 cents in until that. 7.50-18 is 5.5-6.5" rim width, 7.00-18 is 5.0-6.0", as per Universal's website. Not a real big difference. Now, if you look around town, you'll see plenty of 4x4 late model 3/4 tons with 285/75r16's on factory 6.5" wheels, spec on those is 7.5-9" rim width. I would personally probably be more concerned about space between the duals.
