I pulled out the 4 wood window trim frames today getting them ready to finish and install after the new glass and channels are secured in place.

Can anyone confirm that these frames were the same hammered bronze color as the dashboard.

Currently I have just coated them with epoxy to seal them from the elements.

Thank you,
Dave Murray

I have 46 of the 41 to 46 time frame. It has no wood in the windows. Your truck must be older? Are your head lights on the fenders or off the radiator frame.

Hello DAve,
For what it's worth, the wood frames on both of mine were painted with the same color as the dash. I should say what paint was left on them.

To answer GWWirth question, my Suburban is a 1946 for sure. The frames around the front doors are just like a pick up, metal.

The 4 windows (2 on each side) have wood frames that I would hate to pay to reproduce.

Thanks Patrick you have confirmed my suspicions..
