With the freshly boiled out & shiney clean gas tank temporarily mounted, cleaned out main fuel line, new fuel pump, new vaccum advance, timed w/a vaccum gauge and new 10w30 oil & oil filter, this venerable old truck is once again under power w/it's own self contained powerplant grin
It's been since 69 since this truck could start and run all on it's own systems.

Next up is overhauling the non existing brakes and deciding on what tires to go with.

Must be a good feeling of satisfaction to hear it running again after all the hard work & expense! Congrats!

Thanks all. Heres a short video of the truck idleing just after an oil change and tuneup. It's on jackstands getting ready for a brake overhaul. The tires barely hold air so they need replaced also. Room is tight in my crowded shop so the box is doing double duty for storage at this time. The bed will get redone eventually.
