I am rebuilding a 54 3100 which came with 15 inch wheels and hub caps with the blue bow tie. Did this year truck ever come with 15" wheels? I need to buy new tires anyway so I am considering buying new 16" wheels if that is what is correct.

Thank you, this was my first post. I found the chart challenging to understand but I believe it says the '54 3100 came with both 15" and 16" wheels

Yes, 15" wheels were optional and 6.00x16" wheels were standard equipment on 954 3100 (1/2 ton) trucks.
