I just read John's subject update and wow how I was heartfully touched! Please, ODSS members, or all stovebolters for that matter, hop on over to the June Gallery stories and read about John and Peggy's 1949 Chevrolet 1 ton Pick-Up update. If that doesn't inspire you to get out and work on "old iron", either by earning cash working odd jobs to pay for this addictive hobby, or just finding time to do the work yourself, I don't know what will.
Looking forward to seeing "old charlie" again at Winchester 28 Sep, and by the way, my "old green truck" (1948 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pick-up) too was manufactured fat Norwood, Ohio.V.R, Nick Cavallaro, Bel Air, MD

I, too, hope to see Charlie at Winchester. In fact, I hope soon to see Charlie off the jackstands that old stinker is currently on (we've hit a snag on the brake lines with one of the flex line couplings refusing to come free. I have it soaking in penetrating oil so hopefully ... I won't have to replace the brake line ...)
