my blinkers dont work and Ive already changed the wiring harness in the front and Ive put a new blinker switch in. this is a 1964 chevy what might the problem be.

the flasher unit, the bulbs, poor grounding, key turned off ..... yer wiring job? need to get a wiring diagram [a shop manual is a great investment] and trace from where the circuit gets power until the power isn't gettin thru anymore - everything else electrical work? do the front parking lights work? did the signals works before you replaced the harness?

I dont know what a flasher unit is, the bulbs are new, I think it might be the grounding, I tested it when the engine was running,I bought the wiring harness from chevy duty so that should'nt be the problem. If the brake lights were not grounded would the blinkers not work?

the flasher is the little tin can that plugs in here , should make slight noise, click click click

having all 4 light circuits good is important for the signals to work properly - any old thing can happen if there's bad grounds anywhere - do your rear signals work? the harness itself might be fine, but you may not have gotten it in correctly, or there may be pieces missing, like the grounds or the connections to power points - is the circuit fused, and have you checked the fuses? does power come from the light switch and do the other light circuits work? do the front lights work as park lights?
