You might want to call Jim Carter Antique Truck Parts and ask if they have a set of patterns (the used to sell a set). You could then have the glass cut locally.

Hello,
Not sure about where you are, but I went to an auto glass dealer in my hometown who had been in business for quite a few years and they had patterns going back into the 30's for almost all cars and trucks. Might want to call around to check if someone near you still has a set of patterns.

If you have one, make a template from 1/4 in thk press board and take it to any glass shop and get safety glass as mentioned. Flat glass is cheap. If you order, you will pay big shipping on top. You can "install" this board first if you wish and if you have the rubber, as a test. I believe your glass will be 1/4 thk.

I took my broken glass to my local old timer and asked him to reproduce.

bobby,

Do you have the original glass?
I have mine in a storage cabinet - I'll check the thickness.

old glass is .25, new glass is a little thinner but close enough.

glass is mostly made/designated in even millimetre sizes nowadays - slightly thinner than 0.25" will be 6mm or 0.236", as said, close enough
