old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 150 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 150 | Has anyone else run into problems putting a front bumper filler panel on with the bumper brackets? i just purchased one for my 54 and with the bumper brackets in the stock position there is still like a 3" gap between the filler panel and the grill. I thought if i move the bumper brackets back one bolt hole on the frame ( looks like i will have to trim a little off the back end of the bracket)it looks like that will come alot closer. Has any one else had this problem? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Did you buy a 54/55 filler panel (or the 47-53 panel)?
