I just got a new ignition switch with 4 posts in the back: batt, ign, acc, and an unlabeled one in the middle. I'm assuming nothing goes to the unlabeled one in the middle, but I wasn't sure about the acc post. Is that where I put the horn wire?
2. If I add a heater, where would that go? Through the heater switch to the ammeter and a ground? Thanks, Joe | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | ACC = accessories, usually you would want that to go to a fuse panel to power things like the heater so that they're off when the switch is off - and make sure you have a fuse on the heater .... avoid hooking anything to the ammeter for power .... the horn should have one wire from it to a power point, preferably from a horn relay, the other wire [to supply ground] goes from the horn or relay to the horn button
