I'm in need of some help. Does anyone know of a source for the big concave washers used on the front body mounts? Also is there an after market supplier for the barn door hinges? and last but not least anyone know which supplier has the replacement bed wood and correct strips for the 49-50 panel trucks. I don't find any listed under the websites. wave

Craig,

MAR-K lists panel bed wood.

Panel body mount pads

The mount pads and metal cupped washers are in this CB1521 kit sold by American Classic Truck Parts .

Thanks for the response. Looks like Mar-k has the wood and the strips and a bolt kit too. I already have the pads. I looked at the link you sent for the concave washers but didn't see them in that part number but I think they are in the other kit (CB150). The other items in the kit wouldn't be of use but I guess if I want the washers I have to buy the whole kit.
Now it I can find a source for the barn door hinges I'll be in tall cotton!
Thanks....Craig

Craig,

Good luck with the rear door hinges. Be patient. They are the same for all 47-55 1/2 ton and 1 ton panel trucks and 50-55 Suburbans with rear doors. Place a Parts Wanted ad in the Swap Meet.

There is a guy selling a pair of barn doors for $200 with the hinges in the swapmeet section of this sit.
