I have a 1994 extended cab frame and am trying to make sure I have the my cab place properly. I know there are "jig" holes that could be used as a reference. Just curious. I know I can pin it down but just want to save a bit of time.

The Truck Factory Assembly Manual has a dimensional frame drawing. It is very useful, the dimensions I needed from wheelbase centerline to firewall were there.

The reason I ask is because the extended cab frame is the right length for a long box 54, but need to be shortened for a short box.
The reason there is no "measurement" is because it depends on exactly the look you want. I have been thinking and thinking on this. Having the front end on is the way to go. I put the fenders on it the day I set the cab down but I am going to bolt them down along with installing the core support.
I am not worried about the bed as I am going to use the stock S-10 bed and do some custom sheet metal work and make it match the contours of the cab.
