Same rear and trans as your '56 3/4 (if its a four speed and they are both Chevrolet). I love mine. Being a '65 you get IFS, which also makes a disk brake swap super easy and cheap, if you want that. Pretty uncommon configuration - mine is the only one I've ever seen around here. (I remember seeing another on craigslist, but thinking back, I think it was actually the same truck)

It is my daily driver. Built like a train car. A bulletproof truck if there ever was one. Is it a GMC 305 V6? If so I think you'll be very happy with the mammoth torque that motor produces!!
