I have not been able to find a reference to which tower on the cap "should" be #1. (I know I can put it wherever I want, but is there a "correct" position? Might as well do it right if I'm going to do it at all. PS: I know how to set the timing etc once I decide where #1 is and install the dizz acordingly. Thanks all! | | |

The rotor should be pointing at #1.I know there is a lot of info on this subject,try doing a search on top dead center,distributor,firing order . Try this link .
