define "best" .... what year? .... what area of the "body"? .... what are your metal working skills?

Best would be any outfit that is close to you. They all stock pretty much the same stuff. For bed parts I think Mar-k is supposed to be good, I think all their stuff is us made.
All the other truck parts houses use the same stuff, counter part, dynacorn, goodmark etc. Some parts made by some of the places don't even look right in some applications and the other manufacture has it right, its a toss up. I know for the TF steps the counter part is not correct where the dyna corn is. Dyna corn front fenders have been having a problem, and they don't have the holes for emblems. Where I think counter part has them not sure just guessing . Others may know and have better ideas.

red59, 1949 or 50 I am not sure which I have. Probably will need floor and maybe some other stuff. Just getting in to the project. I am a fair welder and have good welding equipment. Not very experienced at body work but I guess I am fixin to learn

Floor patches should be the same between 1947 - 1955 depending on location of patch, but all will work. Use search feature to find articles on installation and fitment. Several vendors carry these patches, most come from one source in Taiwan.

Front fenders 1947 - 1953 (Chevrolet) Rear fenders 1947-1955. Many vendors carry these in thinner material, again from one source in Taiwan. Best to find originals @ the swap meet, craigslist, ebay or place an want ad in our swap meet section.

Running boards * same as above.

Rubber products, many on this board prefer Steele products for quality and fitment.

Use the search feature to find lot's of this same type of information, we've been at this for many years and I have learned most of my information from this board or at least have been helped immensely over the years.
