Hi Guys,
Just a reminder that the Old Car Sunday show is coming up this Sunday, June 16. Show opens at 9:00am so we will likely try to get there shortly after 8:00. Past years we have met at the Starbucks in Mission - figure 7:30. Boyd & I will be leaving from Langley, out thru Abbotsford / Matsqui.
* All subject to weather of course *

Hi Bruce,

Weather and safety permitting I will be there with the Panel Beater. Hey I just made a joke. My drag link looks a bit dicey so I need to check it carefully before committing to bringing it. I greased it the other day and there appears to be a crack near the end. I tried to get a new one shipped to a hotel I stayed at this week in Cupertino, CA and it was backordered. So it will arrive when I am not there!!!! If I can't make it safe I will drive out in my car. Hope to see you all.

Ted

I'm going in the morning and have to leave about noon. Weather looks good, bust out the 30 weight sun screen.

There is one in the London Drugs / Save on Foods shopping centre across from the Misson Race Track. That's the one. The only other place they have Starbucks is the Safeway. However is you were ever to meet at Tim Horton's in Mission, that would be confusing. Such a small town has 3 of them.

Saw Bruce and Tammy, Boyd and Sue, and Ted and Dave at the show. I took pics of almost every GM truck I could see. Some VWs and Willys too.

Great shots!
Over 1250 vehicles, something for everyone there.
And great weather.
Saw what I think was Ted's panel crossing Stave Lake and 7th, when I was walking to the show.

Sorry I missed you John. If it was a rough primer grey - yes that was me. I would have at least offered you a ride! I didn't see any other AD or TF panels, but I did see a beautiful early 60s Suburban. It was great to meet Boyd, Susan, Dave and Paul and to see Bruce and Tammy again. I did notice my Panel was in the worst condition of any vehicle there - shouldn't I get some prize for that?

By the way Dave, thanks for help identifying my engine. I was told by the PO it was a 261, but clearly it is a 235.

Good to see you guys again. Sorry we had to bug out early - needed to find lunch for Tammy and 1 1/2 Hr lineups at the food vendors wasn't gonna work !
Ted..don't worry about your truck ! We see them in all states of repair. There sure isn't another one of those around that I can recall.
Missed Bobb & Roger, but likely see you guys next weekend at Chilliwack show if weather gods participate.

Yes Ted, that was you. You were on your way out. Don't worry about the state of your panel, my '54 is the same colour with a couple of black fenders. Think of how I felt at the picnick with those guys.
Chilliwack is next week??? The iPhone show a sun on Saturday so hope it's right.
