Streetrodchev, Welcome to the Stovebolt Page. I think it was just yesterday we had another bolter from WI join up with us. There's getting to be quite a group of you guys up there. I'm sure you'll get to meet them.

Those two stovebolts you have are a nice group. Now all we need is a picture!!

Lots of stuff here. Take your time and learn your way around. Bolters here are the Greatest.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Welcome, I really like the 46s, I helped my brother get one home a number of years ago. Good luck with both trucks.

Welcome to the "Bolt! I like both your trucks, already!! did the '66 come stock from the factory as a 4X4? What engine? 292? 283? 327? 396? I believe, all were options in '66. A friend had a '67 3/4-ton with a 292/SM420/4X4,and it was SWEET!! All it needed were some body panels, but didn't need anything but an oil change, mechanically. He used that truck for over 20 years, without having to tear into anything major. AND it did its share of HARD work around the farm,to boot! Iowa Winters,(SALT), finally did its dirty work to the frame,so he finally had to scrap the body. He sold the engine to a guy who has a '72 C-60,and it's still being used! It's due for rings and bearings/valve job. But I'll bet that engine has well over 150,000 miles on it!! Got any pics?

It takes an awful big dog to weigh a ton.
