Can the air pump be removed and air injectiors be pluged and if so what else needs to be done to make engine run right if any thing.

In California any vehicle made prior to 1974 does not require emission control.

Why do you think it is not running right?

I guess I should have said that the truck does run good now but if I remove pump and injector lines and then plug holes will this do any damage to the engine or cause engine to not run right?

No. It will not hurt it.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
