The shop manual states to remove two head bolts and insert eye bolts to lift from, does anyone know what size/thread eye bolt to purchase? or is their any other suggested way to secure the motor for removal? Thanks Steve

take one of the head bolts with you to your eye bolt supplier, or just measure the bolt, I am not sure off the top of my head if they are 1/2 or 7/16 but I know they are coarse thread.

As someone who doesn't bother to read the shop manual, I have been just looping one end of the chain around the front intake (bolt the chain together) then to the bell housing bolt on the opposite side. But please share part numbers and supplier when you find the right eye bolts. I could use them!
