The wiring is bare in alot of places. Can I install a new wiring harness properly as the truck sits, fully assembled? Who sells the best wiring harness available? Thanks, Dean | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | you can install a new harness anytime, with a fully functional truck is best cuz you can keep checking as you go, replacing each section as the old is removed .... any of the vendors will have good kits, might not want to go the absolute cheapest, but also no need to spend a bundle, the stock 49 wiring is simple and straight forward

Maybe yellow with a red tracer or black etc. Sometimes you can pick up the colour from old harness, behind insulation etc. Usually they are well numbered, and theres not that many wires. regards
