I am using the engine from a 350 pontiac for my build Iam trying to figure the oil line set up .Ihave two lines running from the oil filter housing they go around to the front of the engine I am not sure were they went to .Can they be removed and a reguler filter system be installed.I relize it seems like a crazy question, but the engine was was out when it was brought to me. Those lines would have gone to an oil cooler. You can take the adapter off the block and put an oil filter adapter on.

Thank you for the information it is what i needed to know. You guys have always been there for me. Thank you. I have been taking pictures of the build and hopefully will be posting them by the end of the summer.Tony PS [ There is a 1/4 inch threded hole just above the oil filter housing the hole is empty does anyone know what was in there or what could it be used fo ]

It is probably 1/8" pipe thread, its for a oil pressure switch
