Number is same as the drums I got for the front couple months ago -- ND 4401071. But these drums have a 1/4" plate about 1/2 x 3" welded onto the exterior, about an inch in from the edge. None of my old drums nor the new front drums from NAPA had the plate. Dumb question - What is this plate for? Different application? Will it affect balance or wheel fit on a 52? | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | That plate is a balance weight. Not all drums have them, and they can vary in size, just like wheel weights do. It shouldn't be a problem with wheel fitment.
