For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 4 | I know this question has been covered before but I can't find it. I want to get rid of the ugly bucket seats(orange 70's style) that someone put in my 58 Apache and replace them with a bench seat. I know I will have to go to a wrecking yard to find one that will fit so what should I look for? Second question. Why are original bench seats so hard to find? I would love to put an original bench seat in but I can't find anything out in Internet land.

I read somewhere: "They were hunted down to extinction and replaced with bucket seats in the 70's and 80's... the last specimans are actually now found as recycled metal in electronic equipment commonly associated with computers" I lost that source though... maybe google will have it The first answer is in the threads here ... something about 78 if I recall.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else

They fit great and you can usually find one in a colour you want. | | |
