Ol' Darrell, my '58 Apache, has a rocker arm oil feed tube that pokes into the hole in the head on one end, loops over and feeds the rocker shaft and back over the other side of the shaft with an open end. I have another later model 235 that has a oil tube that is short and pinched closed on one end. Should I use the one that came off my engine as-is, or should one end of the tube be pinched?
Also, both of my 848 heads ended up being cracked, so I will have to run the #913 that was on the truck. frown

Aaaahhh. Thanks. I pulled the other engine from a '60 or '61 truck, hence the pinched tube. I guess I was trying to make this thing more complicated than it is. I should get the head from the machine shop tomorrow, so maybe this thing will run again next week.
