Hello all,

As it is now the weekend and spring is almost here I am looking at starting on the list of projects(oil change, spark plugs/wire ect) one thing that I would like to do is replace the oil in the trans. and rear def. however i can't find the proper weight oil for ether and after a failed search attempt I am coming hear(its a 61 Apache 10 stock motor and trans.) also as we are on the subject of oil changes I was wondering if any of y'all put any additive in your motor oil when changing it? or any thoughts on this practice.

lastly, A few days ago I replaced the hand throttle cable that had seized up and was wondering if it is supposed to stay in the position that you pull it in/out to, as of right now mine you can pull out but when released snaps back to the dash. I have never had to use the hand throttle when starting or running so I have little knowledge but would assume that is would be of much more use if it stayed where you put it.

and as always would love to hear what everyone does to get there ride ready after the winter.

Thanks
-Tim
