If you don't already know, the front doors are specific to the panel, although truck doors will work. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,061 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,061 | That has a lot of potential. It loos like the rear sides over the wheels and most likely the wheel wells are good. This is a big thing, mine are shot and causing me some headachs on how to fix them.
The plumbing on the right side, the cut out front and rear bumpers, and the platform on top of the cab seem to say this thing had a unique purpose for something at one time. Any idea what it was used for?

There are two fold down seats behind the front seats, and two long fold down benches inside. The rear bumper is a flip up wooden step, the Previous Owner said he was told that it was used as a Mobile Recruiting Office in Maine, at the beginning of WWII. I'm not sure I understand your question about the platform on top of the cab, I don't see anything. Shorty's plan is to get it Rollin, Brakin' and Runnin'....kinda in that order. He has been able to remove and save all of the hinges so far, and has gotten off the wheels, after Much pounding on the rears. It had dual heaters in the engine compartment, one running hot air through a large flexible tube to the back into a diffuser. Any one want to suggest where to go for tires ? ? :D | | |
