After searching in vain for the silver grey interior color paint code on a 1958 Panel/Truck I took matters into my own hands. No one seems to be able to cross reference the DUCO number. So I went to a local paint shop (Lordco on Kingsway in Burnaby BC) and asked Mark to help me. He obviously has an eye for color because he eventually came up with this very close match.

Below the two screw holes is the new color. Above is the original color (after the top coat was stripped off.) The little squares are the experimental colors he used to match.There is slightly more metallic in the new color - I am thinking that is hard to control. This probably is not good enough for an obsesssive restorer, but I am happy with it. It is also flattened to match the sheen. Here is what Mark came up with:

Good work. Now I wish I had that for the Commanche gold in a 59.
So are all those the numbers and quantitys of the mix?

They are codes the paint guys can use Truckrolet. I got a quart, but i noticed the numbers for all quantities. By the way, it should be flatter with less flake.
