I scored a 235 out of a 59 biscayne. Mainly, I bought it for parts, manifolds, harmonic pulley, and the "848" head. The PO said the car had been sitting for 40 years, but only had about 70K on the odometer. I pulled the head and #6 bore had the open valves so it was rusted up. The block didn't have much of a ridge, so I'm thinking maybe I can save this motor. I finally got the engine to turn over, but it still seems purty tight when #1 & #6 come up to the top of the bore? I had a fresh head so I put it on, I can turn it over with the starter, but only with the plugs out. So what do you mechanics think, should I attempt to save it or plan on a rebuild? A compression test shows 150 across the board, but it's still leaking down. Thanks, Phil
