The number above the starter is CON2. The number at the dipstick is B271, and the far right serial number is 473483 with a large GM cast below that and the number 10 cast below the GM.
I can't find these numbers anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

All sorts of answers from a web search:
473483 is a 1975-1976 250
or 1973-1979
or 1966-1979
or 1979-1985 (integral manifold/head, supposedly)
Is the intake manifold integral with head?
Maybe someone will know of the meaning of B271 at that location on the block.
I'd guess (a wild guess) that it is a date casting code:
B = February
27 = 27th
1 = 1971 or 1981

The engine has a smog pump which is plumbed into the head at each cylinder. I think I can remove the piping and plug the ports since I do not need the smog option.
