Without removing the cover, what are the measurements between the knobs and what size square hole for the radio. Does anyone have a radio deleate plate close at hand that you could measure for me. Please guys I got a once in a lifetime chance at a box type radio that looks just like the ones that install into these trucks with the speaker located front bottom of the radio to line up with the speaker grill, its a wonderbar out of a cadillac and the number on the radio is 7258865, will it fit? thanks HUGH

I think maybe it would tilt enough through the holes enough to mount though. Upon closer inspection with a mirror and a flashlight to the backside dash riveted area, it seems like my dash was cut sometime in its past. The 2 1/2 x 5 area still exists, but they cut the area where the knob shafts pass through. Think this radio might fit, its complete with knobs and foot dimmer switch and is suppose to be functional, and is astetically pleasing to the eye. What is the foot switch for, tuning? Working Wonderbar radios are really something.
