Is it normal for a 1950 chevy truck brake pedal to be much higher than the clutch pedal. Should they be equal? The brake pedal is at least two inches higher. If it's not normal than where is the adjustment?

The truck was like that when I bought it.

yes, that's usual for all the old trucks, some folks prefer to haywire something to even them out, but having proper full travel is a good thing and the way GM made them

On an AD truck, the stop for the brake pedal is in the MC. Therefore you can adjust the height of the brake pedal using the rod adjustment. However once the pedal gets adjusted down sonmewhat it no longer turns of the brake switch and the brake lights stay on.

I take the pedal off & cut it down to match the clutch. Then weld it back on. It makes it more comfordable to drive & looks better.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
