Just bought this studwelder today. Anyone else own this brand? Made in the USA! Got a pretty good deal on CL. Bought a pipebender from the same guy too. Not sure what I'm gonna use the pipebender for yet. I think I'll go try the studwelder out on the cat. LOL!

Looks brand new. I'm always a bit suspicious about good deals on Craig's List. Makes me wonder it it's stolen. ohwell

Pipe bender could be good if you are in to fabricating.

This seller was knowledgable about cars and was restoring a 70's Toyota Land Cruiser. Of course, I don't have proof that it wasn't stolen, but he wanted to make the sale in a public place. Nothing shady about it.

I buy all kinds of stuff using CL. Just sold a motorcycle on CL yesterday. It's just an internet version of the local newspaper classifieds, but usually with pictures.

I was thinking it would be useful to bend exhaust tubes, but maybe not?

Well, if you have the right size dies for the exhaust tubing, I don't see why you couldn't bend up some exhaust.

I hope to do that. In fact, that's what I thought it was designed for. It looked cool and it doesn't take up much room and shouldn't wear out quick.

Nice stuff. Cummins is a good brand. Post a link to a pic of how the stud welder works for ya. I have had good luck with c/l too, no stolen goodies or problems.

That auto body nail gun is a great tool. I have one just like it. I've found that more nails are better than less. There's a trick to it but after a dent or two you get pretty good at it.

As far as the pipe bender goes, if it's the type that goes in the press it will work better on thick material and probably just smash exhaust tubing. I have a mandral bender and it still likes thicker material.I'd be interested in seeing the bender, especialy if it works on the exhaust?
