Phil Hi Phil,sorry for the long delay,but i'm just north of the border from you in Ayrshire(just above Dumfries) There's also a guy in the lakes near you also has an AD truck. I'll see if i can get a link,it may be good for you to 'hook up' as they say round here. Like Daniel already mentioned if there's anything we can do to help just get in touch.

I've got a '54 with a 235. The pipe is pretty much straight except for the up and over at the rearend. I could take a photo, are you wanting from the manifold back?
