I have a 1965 Chevy Truck I have the door panel off
and am wondering how I remove the glass from the door?

I highly recommend buying a 1963 factory service manual which covers most of the service info for these trucks. You will also need the 1965 factory supplement that covers the changes that took place since 1963. Window removal is covered there.

Basically, you will need to remove the small screws the hold the window bottom to the regulator mechanism rail. I might be wrong, but I think the vent mechanism might need to come out first.

Jay is correct. The vent needs to come out first then you can get the window out. I also agree with Jay to get the manuals. They are a great resource.

Back when I rebuilt my windows I found a video on You Tube a fella posted that was very helpful. I just looked for the video and I can't find it.

Here is a link to a "How To" article for a a '72 Suburban. The steps of the rebuild process are basically the same for all the '60-72 truck doors.

I have a 41 that I removed and replace all the glass to and it really was not that big a of a deal.
