Who has the best price currently? I've searched the net and the best I can find is $125 with free shipping. Anyone find it cheaper??

I wanted to buy one for my 52 but it was too long to fit. I would have had to grind off the rivets and move the brackets to widen the tray. Too much hassle so I bought a regular battery. Then again I have no idea if yours is under the floor like an A.D.

Did you have to make a special holdown bracket for your Optima? Since it is not as wide as a regular battery and you put it diagonally, it seems like it would move around.

The battery cables hold it in place in the box.
Joe, the six volt is very narrow and light, fits in the box very well. The 12v would not fit in my box at all. | | |

I also run an Optima battery in my truck and I am 12 volt. It fit the battery tray perfectly but I had to make a hold down bracket to keep it in place.
Optimas are great batteries.
