Hi all,

I am looking to use a cradle, a-arm, steering assembly from a 4th gen (1999) Camaro in place of the straight axle.
Has anyone tried this yet? If so, are there any issues, tips or tricks you could share?

I would advise against it, mainly due to the amount of fabrication required to make it work. You would need to fabricate not only upper strut towers, but also a mount for the upper control arms, as they both bolt to the body on the Camaro. A much better option would be to either subframe using a 2nd gen ('70-'81) Camaro subframe, or use a crossmember that uses 2nd gen Camaro/A body suspension components.
