The bracket that holds the tranny tube to the cross member,it has 4 bolts in it ,has a rubber bushing, gasket ,piece of rubber?????????????.At this time it has the consistency of jello.I guess i need to replace it,OK What is it called and it seems to have large Rivits, do you cut them off and bolt it or can you get new rivits or do i just clean it up and FORGET ABOUT IT? Any feed back and thanks again.

What year and size truck?
Standard/manual transmission?

1947-1954?

The rubber pad is available from Chevs of the 40s.
