For those of you who didn't see it in the "what did you do today" thread, you can see my new cab at my blog below.

I'm psyched! I can’t believe how nice it is… I’m half tempted to buff out the paint and touch up the scratches…

One thing I have noticed so far is that it has two bolts front to back on the core support to mount to frame. Mine had a single bolt. May have to make an adjustment there.

and I'll add the suggestion for Tj to change the drop box below to "Using HTML & UBBCode" when pasting text in from another app

It's off of a 6500 going on a 3800.

going to fab the 8" or so extensions to turn my frame into a 4100 frame essentially. that's the plan for now anyway.

i think my frame has the two holes I need for the radiator core but i have to double check. rear cab mounts different? i have both my 3800 shackles and the new cab has the original ones too

The differences could be between the small cab shackles and larger cabs.
Might not effect your project.

good to know. ill check on that.

so even though all conventional trucks used the same cab, some had different shackles than others? maybe because the 1/2 ton frame is different in that area. i think it"s wider.
