on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 | Hello Y'all, I remember that there was a thread, someone mention how to, or tech tip on getting some used halogen headlights from the retired vic yard (junk yard) and converting his headlamps to halogen headlights. Would anyone know what I am talking about? I was looking at the conversion kit from chevy of the 40s but I don't want to spend $131 for something that I can get for way less. I understand that when it is done, the adjustment within the housing is lost.
I remember the post you are asking about. They glued a modern socket from a car into the headlight reflector. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 | It took a while but I finally found the thread.
